About Me

Hello there! I'm Akintobi Olanrewaju, and I wear many hats! As a lecturer in Agricultural Extension and rural sociology, I share my passion for farming and community development with bright minds. But I'm not just stuck in the classroom. You can find me out in the field too, working as an agricultural extension specialist, helping farmers improve their practices and livelihoods.

I'm also a co-founder of a health technology company, because I believe good health starts with understanding what we put into our bodies. Speaking of which, I'm an advocate for organic living and have even written a book, "Home Remedies (Herbs & Spices)" sharing my knowledge about using natural solutions for a healthier life.

But my heart truly lies in supporting African farmers. As the leading Social Agriculturist in Nigeria & Africa, I use my teaching skills on social media to enlighten, support, and encourage young farmers with good agricultural practices. My goal is to ensure agro knowledge transfer for food security – equipping rural farmers with the education, support, and resources they need to improve their production and lives.

To help with that, I created U-survey, an app that makes data collection easier for researchers working with farmers. And now, I'm even building an AI platform that gives farmers direct access to the right information for their specific needs. Also wrote a research publication for farmer and agriculture entusiast to learn. It's an exciting journey, and I'm just getting started!

So, yeah, I guess you could say I'm passionate about agriculture, technology, and empowering people.
